Coedis was founded in 1997, as 'Type B' social co-op, according to Italian law n. 381/91, with the scope of pursuing the general interest of communities by human promotion and social integration of citizens, through business activities aimed at the employment of disadvantaged people.

Since 1997, Coedis has untertaken diversified ventures aimed at creating job opportunities. The production of musical instruments under the Dino's Guitars brand represents only one, of the many activities that see the over 30 members and employees actively managing business in the building trade, in shops, as contract cleaners, as labour suppliers in the electromechanical industry.

For each of its activities Coedis operates in the open market, having accepted the challenge of combining real-world entrepreneurship with social attention and care for the individual. This to testify that such things can go hand in hand successfully, as they really always should.

As it goes, Coedis' own revenues alone are able to to guarantee fair salaries and full application of national contracts to 32 people, half of which affected by some sort of handicap: phisical disability, mental health problems or coming from drugs or alcohol addiction problems.

We are convinced that everybody has the right to a fair job. This is our belief and guiding principle in our everyday activities.
