Born in Genova, Italy in 1960.  Guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer, he is since a long time among the outstanding personalities of the European blues and rock scene.  He recorded 3 LPs with Italian foremost band Big Fat Mama and 7 CDs on his own, the latter of which issued with a live DVD.  He gigged with several Italian (e.g. Fabio Treves) and American blues players all around Europe and the United States.  In 2003 he played with John Popper (of Blues Traveler fame) and bottleneck master Roy Rogers (John Lee Hooker’s musician and producer), whom he currently plays with during his italian tours.  Since 2003 he is founding member of Slowfeet, together with “monsters” of Italian prog-rock Franz Di Cioccio, Lucio Fabbri (PFM) and Vittorio De Scalzi (New Trolls).  Their first cd, “Elephant Memory”, was released in 2008.  In 2005 he was voted runner up for the ‘Best European Blues Artist’ of the year by the readers of the French website ‘bluesfeelings.com’.  He wrote a guitar method with flatpicking ace Beppe Gambetta.   As a producer, in 2006 he won the prizes ‘P. Ciampi’ and “MEI” (Indipendent Labels Meeting) for his studio work with La Rosa Tatuata on their album ‘Caino’.
