The Free Bird is brewed after the classics, with a clear, open voice. Punchy lows, extended and sweet high end, clear midrange are all embedded in the DNA of this loudspeaker.  The Free Bird will ring like a bell when played clean, with a thick high end that won't pierce your ear.  Push it and it will sing with a fine texture, the mids will stay clear and detailed and the low end won't fart out.  This speaker is silky smooth as silky smooth can get.

A 1x12 Dino's cab loaded with a Free Bird loudspeaker is very recommented in all those cases, where a compact setup is a must, but even more stringent is the love for great tone.  We have long been asked to build a 1x12 cab (to be used either in a 1x12 setting, or as an extension cab for combos) but we've long been hesitant, in that we've always felt 1x12 cabs to sound a bit 'boxy' to our ears, no matter what.  In fact, the 1x12 format is the last of the cabinet formats that we've been offering for sale, in that we really took our time to develop it, until we were finally completely satisfied with it. The result is a compact, extremely lightweight and portable little bug that really sounds big, broad, spacious, airy and explosive.  It's fantastic in combination with a good tube amp head, and thanks to its 75 Watts RMS power handling, it can be used with most amps out there. Think of the smallest stack possible with the best tone possible. Otherwise, it can be used as extension cab for small combo amps: you will be amazed by the way it will 'open up' and truly improve on the tone of your rig!
