Like the name suggests, the Black Pup speakers are the little brothers to the Black Dogs. When it came time to lay down the specs for a 10'' speaker, we thought the aggressive and slightly raucous (but by no means harsh!) voice of the Black Dog would complement the smaller 10'' cones beautifully.  As it turned out, we were every bit right, in that the Black Pups provide all the punch, cutting power and 'bark' of the black dogs, and couple it with all the cool things that come from the the quickness of the smaller cone: fast response and incredible dynamics. 

The Black Pups are made specifically for us by a great UK-based supplier. They do all their designing and manufacturing in their factory near Leeds, so we are talking no Asian-bull here.

We've been longtime fans of the glorious '2x10' combo amps (think vintage Marshall 18-Watters, or the classic Fender tweed Super or blackface Vibrolux Reverb), and we designed our 2x10 so that it would complement perfectly any setup drawing inspiration from these classics.  Our 2x10 cab is pure fun to play: quick response, great presence and a solid, coherent bass response define its signature sonic character. Plus it's extremely portable and easy to carry.  A true winner!
