It was after the repeated requests of one of our dealers, that we went back to the drawing board to design the Dino's cabinet for bass guitar.  The basic goal was to come up with something that would follow the path traced by our guitar cabs, i.e. a natural sounding, compact, lightweight and practical cabinet. Able to melt with a good bass amp to provide inspiration to the player and fat, but clear and defined bottom end to the rest of the band.

Clarity, growl, wide dynamic range and definition of single notes are the basis of the bass tones we've always liked the best. To achieve the sound we had in mind, we decided we needed a 4x10 configuration. 4 cones move a lot of air, and they do it quickly: 10'' speakers move fast and are able to track all the nice overtones in bass notes that make for sculpted bass lines. Our proprietary cab recipe in materials and construction helps keeping the bass note fundamentals together and the bass-reflex design extends the lower end response, providing for a full, solid and satisfying bass guitar tone.

Like our own brand Dino's loudspeakers, the 10'' bass cones are made for us by a great UK-based supplier. They do all their designing and manufacturing in their factory near Leeds, so we are talking no Asian-bull here.
