The Free Bird is brewed after the classics, with a clear, open voice. Punchy lows, extended and sweet high end, clear midrange are all embedded in the DNA of this loudspeaker.  The Free Bird will ring like a bell when played clean, with a thick high end that won't pierce your ear.  Push it and it will sing with a fine texture, the mids will stay clear and detailed and the low end won't fart out.  This speaker is silky smooth as silky smooth can get.

Like all Dino's brand speakers, the Free Birds are made specifically for us by a great UK-based supplier. They do all their designing and manufacturing in their factory near Leeds, so we are talking no Asian-bull here.

A 4x12 Dino's cab loaded with four Free Birds will have you pickin' n grinnin' like you've never done before, and with volume and sonic dimension to spare.  Flick that switch on the bridge pickup and enjoy all the percussive twanginess of the Free Birds at its best: rock solid bass and musical mids to boot.  This cab will cut through any loud mix no problem, but will also be able to sound good (i.e. with full harmonic content and great dynamic range) and be heard where you don't need slayering volume. In fact this 4x12 can get loud for sure, but what's striking about it is how it makes each note big. Not simply loud, but real big and full. This is one of the reasons, together with its compact (for a 4x12!) dimensions and light weight, that make it perfectly useable in settings where a 2x12 would be a standard choice (i.e. clubs, smaller stages in general).

In case you really need to be able to switch between a 2x12 and a 4x12 for different gigs (but really can't afford both), instead of settling for two cheap cabs, you should consider one of our 4x12 instead.  Many players have already gone that route and have never looked back.
