We offer an expert in-house service for repair, restoration and modification of electric and acoustic guitars and stringed instruments.

We have done and still do a lot of work on vintage Fenders. 'Sideways' refret jobs on those old bolt-on necks from Fullerton are business as usual here.  We're vintage guitars geeks and we always look for the least invasive approach when dealing with vintage guitars needing work, to preserve originality as much as possible and safeguard the vintage 'vibe' and tone and your investment as well.  We dedicate a lot of time and passion in the study of vintage guitars, of the era they were made, of the tools, materials and techniques that were employed in crafting these instruments.  We feel this is the only way to make informed and conscious decisions when the guitar is on the bench and, before that, to be able to provide valuable input and advice when discussing the work to be done with the owner.

Also, we love to work on newer instruments, to perform any repair (structural, finish work, electrical work, etc.) or maintenance (refret, fret dressing, setup work, nut & saddle, etc.) or even upgrading with better electronics, special wiring, etc. We do not 'upgrade' or modify any vintage instrument, other than restoring as much as possible to original conditions instruments that have already been messed with. On special request, we perform finish work with pure nitrocellulose lacquer and we can replicate any vintage-correct finish type: sunbursts, blonde, butterscotch, TV colors, custom colors.

We also offer consultancy services for optimizing your setup and getting the best tone out of your gear, or to get the tone you have in your head but are struggling to make happen.
